FAQ

  • Where is Dad and the Frog Café located, and how do I get there?

We’re at 96 Fitzroy Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010, tucked into a quiet pocket near Moore Park and Central Station. We're a short stroll from the Light Rail, and there’s street parking nearby. Look for our sunny laneway and the tables with the happy dogs.

  • What services do you offer?

We’re a full-service café offering dine-in, takeaway, catering, and licensed service (yep, we serve mimosas). We also host private events after hours. For catering, visit our catering page, or book a table to join us in person.

  • Do you cater to dietary requirements?

Yes! We’ve got vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options, and we’re happy to modify where we can. Just let our team know your needs—we’ll do our best to look after you.

  • What are your opening hours?

We’re open Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm, and weekends from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Kitchen closes at 2pm daily. Public holiday hours may vary—check our Instagram for updates.

  • Do you have indoor and outdoor seating?

Yes—we’ve got plenty of sunny outdoor tables (dog-friendly, of course) and a cosy indoor space for those cooler or rainy days. Whether you want to soak up the sun or escape it, we’ve got a spot for you.

  • Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely. We’re proudly dog-friendly—our outdoor dining area is a neighbourhood favourite for pups and their humans. We’ve even got water bowls, treats, and the occasional strip of bacon for our four-legged regulars.
